“Our vision is to create a thriving environment for our children where we prioritise sustainability over constant consumption, ensuring a brighter future for generations to come.”

On average, children grow out of their clothes every 6-9 months. With changing seasons, uniforms, and gifts,  most of these items end up in landfill hardly worn.

Let's throw away our need to buy new.

Imagine taking the time to prepare dinner for 6 friends; all the ingredients used, the heat and water expended and the waste products binned.

Now, how would you feel if each of your friends just took a small bite, and the equivalent of 5 meals were thrown away?

Totally unacceptable right?

That is exactly what the fast fashion industry encourages us to do. Consume an item of clothing for a small amount of time then throw it away.

This habit of always buying new is not sustainable.

A pair of jeans produces as much greenhouse gases as driving a car for 80 miles, and it takes 2,700 litres of water to make just one cotton shirt!

Sadly, all that effort and resource isn’t offset by how long we keep our clothes. More than 300,000 tonnes of clothing end up in landfill every year in the UK alone.

Extending the life of clothing has a significant positive impact on the planet. And this, is where we, at SwapC’s, would like to do our part.

This is where SwapC's come in...

Our vision is to create a thriving environment for our children where we prioritise sustainability over constant consumption, ensuring a brighter future for generations to come.

We have created a platform that allows our children’s clothing to be reloved over and over again– with zero cost to you or the planet.

Help us, our planet, and your wallets, by circulating what you can, because, in reality, there is no such thing as throwing away.
